What is Blind Box?

The Basic explanation of blind box concept is you do not know what toy or design you will get inside the box. Itโ€™s like a collectible trading cards or tabletop game cards (Such as Pokemon Cards, NBA Basketball cards). They also got the idea from Japan like โ€œGashaponโ€ or โ€œGachaโ€ or Capsule toy . Where you get random small cheap toys inside a plastic capsule case that will come out randomly from a vending machine. So instead of paper cards and cheap plastic toys, They made a unique toys or designer toys which they collab with local & international toy artists. The goal is to complete all the designs.

How many toys or boxes in a full set?

The most standard quantity for Blind Box companies to make are between 8 to 12 single boxes per full box/set. Some are 4, 6 or more than 12pcs. Which means, for every series or full box/set, there are 8 to 12 single boxes inside.

What are the Blind Box brands or companies out there?

There are hundreds of blind box manufacturer from POP MART, 52Toys, ToyCity, Finding Unicorn, Kidrobot, TokiDoki, Disney, Bandai, Dreams, and many more. Some are large companies, some are small independent toy artists. The company that made blind boxes famous for toy collectors is POP MART from China in 2014 and it spread widely to Southe-East Asian countries. But they are not the original concept maker and definitely not the first company to introduce and produce blind boxes. In Japan, Sonny Angels and Smiskis were introduce around 2004 and one of the first blind box company. In the US, Dunnyโ€™s by KidRobot also create blind box around 2004-2006. Pop Mart only started there blind box business in 2012.

What is a Secret or Hidden Figure?

A Chase figure toy that are very limited and hard to find or simply rare design of that particular series. It has a probability 1:144 (the most common ratio). It means, there is 1 Secret for every 144 boxes you purchase. This is the sought after of every Collectors, Resellers and Scalpers. The purpose of setting up Secret or hidden figures is to increase the fun of the blind box. Consumers are requested to consume rationally.

Do you have a physical store and Where is your Location?

NO we donโ€™t have. Our shop operates primarily online. You can purchase directly through our website. Although, we have a glass cabinet display for walk-in customers at Collective Base Main Branch CB#11 (Theater Mall) and Annex Branch CB#36 (3rd Floor, Shoppesville), both located in Greenhills Shopping Center, San Juan City, Metro Manila.

Do you allow Store Pick-up?

Yes, when you place your order, you can select the store pick-up option from the shipping and delivery menu prior to checkout. Please note that we do not have a physical store or showroom at this time, so our location is for confirmed orders only. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pick-up.

Do you accept same-day delivery?

No, all orders and transactions made through our website are subject to standard shipping via our partnered couriers.

When will my order be processed, and where is it shipped from?

Once your order has been placed. We typically process orders on the same day during our business hours and ship it the next day (Fulfillment is within 1-2 working days). If you place your order after business hours, on Saturdays or Sundays and during Holidays, it will be processed on the next working day. Please note that we do not operate on Sundays and holidays, so we appreciate your patience. All orders are shipped from our office in Santol, Quezon City, Metro Manila.

How much is the shipping fee?

We use standard shipping through our partnered couriers. The rates vary based on the weight, dimensions, and delivery destination. The final shipping fee will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

How long will it take to deliver my orders?

Once your order is processed and fulfilled, which takes 1-2 days, We use the standard shipping option, the estimated delivery time is 1-3 days for Metro Manila and 3-7 days for areas outside Metro Manila. You will receive an email notification regarding your order and the tracking number to monitor your package.

Where do you ship to, and do you offer international shipping?

We currently ship only within the Philippines as our focus is on serving the local market.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order if it hasnโ€™t been processed and shipped yet. However, this must be done within a limited timeframe. PLEASE be responsible and ensure that you are certain of your purchase before checkout, and double check your shipping details such as Name of receiver, Contact and Address. Once your order has been processed and shipped, we will not be able to cancel it.

Do you sell opened/unboxed or confirmed blind boxes?

All our blind boxes are guaranteed sealed and unopened. Thatโ€™s the essence of a blind boxโ€”the excitement of not knowing what youโ€™ll get until you open it. At Bad Piper, we are committed to preserving the integrity of blind box culture and do not support shops that promote opened blind boxes for profit. However, in the future, if we collect enough blind boxes or establish our own showroom/shop, we may consider offering opened ones based on customer demand.

All our products are listed on our website, which we update regularly. Out-of-stock items are also indicated. I am interested in display cases. What is the recommended display box for my toys (size and compatibility)?

Unfortunately, we cannot assist with that. Each customer has unique design preferences and different sizes for their blind box collections. We do not have the capacity to measure or check every toy for compatibility.

We encourage buyers to ensure compatibility with their specific requirements (toy dimensions) before purchasing. We recommend measuring your toys or researching their dimensions online.

I received an incomplete item?

All our blind boxes and designer toys are brand new and sealed. We do not open the boxes to inspect the contents. If the item is incomplete it may be a manufacturing defect. For more information, please refer to our return and refund policy.

I Received a Damaged item?

All our blind boxes and designer toys are brand new and sealed. We do not open the boxes to inspect the contents. If an item is damaged, it may be due to poor package handling by third-party logistics. Please note that we are not responsible for poor package handling by the courier, although we take great care in packaging and securing your order. My item is delayed in shipping?

We do not control shipping delivery timeframes, and delays may occur due to various reasons such as bad weather, holidays, the Christmas season, or an incomplete address. We provide a tracking number with your order, and we will do our best to follow up with the logistics company regarding your shipment.
