Bad Piper Success Story: Starting a Blind Box Toy Business in the Philippines

At Bad Piper PH, our journey began in 2023 with just one product—display cases for blind box collectors. While our brand vision was always to become the leading blind box shop in the Philippines, our first shipment only contained display cases. So, we introduced them to the market as our initial product under the "Bad Piper" Shop name.

Even though we had plans to sell blind boxes from the beginning, we had to wait for them to arrive. By the time they did, we had already partnered with R Collectibles Toy Shop in Greenhills (Promenade Building). In June 2024, we had our first major event, ToyCon PH, sharing a booth with R Collectibles. Though we weren’t able to secure our own booth, this collaboration allowed us to showcase our blind boxes, selling 50% of our stock during the three-day event.

Following the event’s success, we continued our partnership with R Collectibles, displaying our products in their store at Promenade, Greenhills. But we had bigger dreams—to become the biggest blind box shop in the Philippines and make Bad Piper a recognized name. Two months later, we made the decision to move our products and rent our own glass cabinets at Collective Base, Greenhills. Currently, we have two glass cabinets at their Annex Branch CB#11 (Shoppesville) and Main Branch CB#36 (Theater Mall).

Now, with our full website, Bad Piper offers a seamless shopping experience for blind box collectors nationwide. Customers can easily browse and purchase from the comfort of their homes, and we ship anywhere in the Philippines.

Looking ahead, our goal is to participate in as many toy-related events as possible, building our reputation and brand. We aim to provide collectors with the widest selection of blind boxes at reasonable prices. As we continue to grow, we strive to become the biggest online blind box store in the Philippines.
