Our 2nd ToyCon, Our 2nd Anniversary: BAD PIPER at 2025 ToyCon PH Christmas Toys & Collectibles Fair

Our 2nd ToyCon, Our 2nd Anniversary: BAD PIPER at 2025 ToyCon PH Christmas Toys & Collectibles Fair

Last December 12–14, 2025, BAD PIPER PH joined the
2025 ToyCon PH Christmas Toys & Collectibles Fair
at SM MegaTrade Hall, Booth 77–78c, from 10AM to 9PM.

It was our second time joining ToyCon PH Christmas event—and at the same time, it marked our 2nd anniversary as BAD PIPER. That alone already made the event extra special for us.

Our Role: Just Us, Our Toys, and You

We joined as an exhibitor, bringing what we love most:

  • Blind Boxes
  • Designer Toys

We didn’t have any special programs or talks—just our booth, our toys, and our mission:
To let more Filipinos experience how fun and different blind box collecting is.

In the Philippines, most collectors focus on Anime figures and Funko Pops. We want to spread the idea that blind boxes are also exciting—because every box is a surprise, every pull is a story.

What We Brought to ToyCon

At our booth, you’ll find:

  • Blind Boxes and Designer Toys
  • Opened blind boxes (our bestsellers during the event!)
  • New arrivals that quickly sold out
  • A special event-only deal:
₱500 discount for those who pre-ordered and signed up for
UKIO (Letters to Nowhere) whole set during the event

The Reality of This Year’s ToyCon

Compared to Christmas ToyCon 2024, this year had:

  • Fewer goers
  • Fewer buyers

But that didn’t stop us from enjoying every moment. Because what matters most to us isn’t just sales—it’s the people who keep coming back.

Our Favorite Moments

Some highlights we’ll always remember:

  • Loyal customers visiting our booth again and again
This is always the most touching part for us. Seeing familiar faces means everything.
  • Our new arrival stocks and opened blind boxes sold out
  • One of our loyal customers surprised us with a Christmas gift
That moment honestly made us emotional. It reminded us why we started this in the first place.

Promos and Activities During the Event

We ran several activities to celebrate ToyCon and our anniversary:

  • 10% off on all Finding Unicorn brand
  • 20% off on older seriesLaunched our first sticker set as freebies
  • December 13 = BAD PIPER 2nd Anniversary
We asked customers to leave reviews on Facebook and Google.
They got a chance to win:
DoDo Nami – Paradise of Doom Series
    (Draw date: December 16, 2025)

Results We’re Proud Of

Even with fewer crowds, we’re grateful for the results:

  • Older series sold out
  • Good foot traffic
  • Gained new followers
  • Met repeat customers—some of them first discovered us through our TikTok live selling and finally met us in person for the first time

Moments like these remind us that BAD PIPER is more than just a shop—it’s a growing community.

Why We Keep Joining Toy Events

Toy events like ToyCon are always fun.

They remind us:

  • Why we started BAD PIPER
  • Why blind boxes deserve more love in the Philippines
  • Why meeting collectors in person will always be special

We are proud to say that we are currently the only blind box-focused shop joining this event—and we’ll keep pushing blind box collecting forward in the local scene.
